Yoga
Yoga
is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline that originated in ancient India, designed to unite the body, mind, and spirit. It’s a way of life.
Etymology
The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root “yuj”, meaning:
- To yoke, to join, or to unite.
- With God – of your understanding.
My Belief And Yoga
There is nothing I can do without God. I can either align with and trust, or turn from and live in fear and attempt to control, this uncontrollable truth. The practice of yoga on and off the mat is a choice to align with, drawing on the incredible amount of power and guided by messages of our embodied spiritual practice. With consistency and focus, this practice fuels the benefit we bring into the world in our unique way, in our unique place, expressing our embodied good will – creating miracles to support and encourage everyone’s wellbeing.
